You will work within a supportive, detail-oriented team where your contributions directly impact patient care. This role is focused on supporting staging - preparation of items going into the cleanroom - PPE must be worn for the full shift and all work is on-site only. Our ideal candidate has pharmacy assistant experience, can safely lift up to 40 lbs unassisted, and if able to port PPE (mask, gloves) the up to 7.5 hours per shift. Apply today!

Job Responsibility

  • Work primarily in the staging area of the cleanroom to support medications and supplies entering the sterile cleanroom for IV admixture compounding
  • Pick, accurately decontaminate, and restock medications, components, and other vital supplies
  • Maintain strict adherence to NAPRA standards to ensure the integrity and sterility of the environment
  • Safely lift and maneuver totes of supplies and jugs of liquid weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including a mask and gloves, for up to 7.5 hours per shift
  • Adapt to a specialized indoor environment that can run on the cooler side by wearing appropriate layers

Requirements

  • Strong English language communication skills to accurately take direction and collaborate with the pharmacy team
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
  • Comfort wearing a mask and gloves for the duration of a 7.5-hour shift
  • Strict adherence to cleanroom standards: willingness to maintain separate indoor and outdoor shoes, and a commitment to no artificial eyelashes, no artificial nails, no scented products, and no fresh/healing tattoos or piercings
  • Availability for the full duration of this 3-month temporary assignment
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy assistant, medical staging, or healthcare laboratory preparation role
  • An interest in sterile compounding, healthcare, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
