Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - [Halifax] Gain experience in retail Learn about over-the-counter medicines Assist in dispensing prescription medicines Order pharmaceutical stock Advise customers on over-the-counter medication Assist with minor ailments

Job Responsibility:

  • Engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services
  • Advice
  • Housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment
  • Helping to deliver a variety of public health services
  • Gaining a pharmacy qualification
  • Gain experience in retail
  • Learn about over-the-counter medicines
  • Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
  • Order pharmaceutical stock
  • Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
  • Assist with minor ailments

Requirements:

  • GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course
