Pharmacist

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a PRN shift opportunity working various shifts. This position is a hybrid between a Staff Pharmacist and a Clinical Pharmacist. As a Pharmacist at Baptist Beaches, you will have the opportunity to work in a 135 bed hospital, just steps off the beach, within a newly renovated, state-of-the-art pharmacy! This Pharmacist will be working from the central pharmacy and engaging in operational and clinical activities, allowing you to exercise your skills in many different areas. This Pharmacist will be overseeing technician workflow, verifying medication orders, and checking final products. This Pharmacist will be handling consults and new admissions. This Pharmacist will work within a small team with another evening Pharmacist and technician support, while more independent work will be required for weekends. Training for this position will be approximately 4-6 weeks, dependent on level of experience, past utilization of Epic and Omnicell, and spread across day and evening shifts.
