Pharmacist

• Oversees the daily operation of the Brown Health Services pharmacy
• Prescription processing
• Direct patient care and patient counseling
• Provides medication information and support to students, providers and staff
• Managing inventory levels to maintain adequate stock within budget levels
• Placing and receiving orders
• Pricing updates

• BS in Pharmacy required
• Current RI Pharmacist license required
• 3-5 years experience working in a retail pharmacy or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Patient education and social skills necessary for working with young adult population preferred
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in group practice
• Must demonstrate excellent judgment and decision-making skills
• Experience with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends, primarily during the academic year
