Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and supervise team activities to ensure a "zero defect" workflow
Manage the full prescription dispensing cycle, including clinical reviews and professional consultations
Execute complex calculations for specialized prescription formulations and admixtures
Maintain strict adherence to provincial and federal regulations and corporate Standard Operating Procedures
Provide clinical support through patient counseling and thorough documentation of pharmaceutical care
Act as a subject matter expert for drug therapy, stability, and compatibility inquiries
Prioritize production tasks based on critical patient needs and urgent turnaround times
Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing departmental training
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a higher university degree in Pharmacy
Active and valid Pharmacist license in the province of Ontario
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under high pressure with short lead times
Nice to have:
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a pharmacy setting
Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical literature regarding compounding and admixtures
What we offer:
Competitive Pay: Hourly rate between $52.00 and $55.00 per hour (high end of range would require prior experience with specialty compounding)
