As a Specialty Pharmacist at our Las Vegas Mail Service Pharmacy, you'll play a key role in our mission to make health care more personal, convenient, and affordable. Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the correct medication is appropriately picked, checked, packed, and shipped to patients
  • Perform all duties associated with the dispensing of pharmaceuticals
  • Provide customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Provide direction and guidance to supporting staff
  • Be cross-trained on other functions within the facility as assigned
  • Be knowledgeable and compliant with all pharmacy regulations and corporate policies, work instructions and procedures

Requirements

  • Six months of experience as a pharmacist
  • Licensed pharmacist in Nevada
  • Experience in mail order, hospital, or retail pharmacy preferred
  • Prefer six months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
  • Current Pharmacist License in good standing, based on applicable state licensing requirements
  • Stand for the duration of the shift (8–10 hours)
  • Repeatedly lift 5–10 lbs for the duration of the shift
  • Occasionally lift up to 30–50 lbs during a shift
  • Reach for and grasp objects at various heights
  • Use a keyboard and operate departmental machinery
  • Work regularly near moving machinery (conveyor belts)
  • Work in a moderate-noise environment
  • Wear protective clothing or equipment as required

Nice to have

  • Active Licensed Pharmacist in California
  • Ability to obtain and maintain non-resident pharmacist licensure in at least 4 other states
  • Pharm D preferred
