Job Description

In this position, you will work in the subsidiary company Ramunėlė Vaistinė in Šiauliai. The pharmacy chain of “Ramunėlės vaistinė” unites regular pharmacies and compounding pharmacies that make drugs prescribed by doctors for specific patient’s needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Advises patients of drug use, giving information on the medication regarding proper use, storage, common side effects, and drug interactions
  • Monitors the safety and efficacy of drug therapy through the maintenance of medication profiles in computerized data base
  • Directs/participates in the stocking, inspection, storage, preparation, dispensing, and administration of medications in the patient care area

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist
  • Good English skills
  • Ability to work with a computer
  • Knowledge of prescription and non-prescription drugs and drug products and their indications, efficacy, dosage, mechanisms of action
  • fate and disposition (if known), major contraindications and potential side effects
  • Knowledge of influence of patient's age, sex, concomitant disease states, concurrent drug therapy, foods and diagnostic procedures on drug activity and disposition
  • Ability to effectively counsel patients regarding use, possible side effects and storage of medications
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pathology, chemistry and mathematics as they relate to pharmacy practice
