Job Description:

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Infusion Therapy! This is a PRN opportunity with shift availability primarily on weekdays, offering options for full-day or half-day shifts. The pharmacist will also be included in a rotating weekend on-call schedule approximately every six weeks. As a PRN Pharmacist in our infusion setting, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing the duties of a Pharmacist in an Infusion Therapy setting
  • Responsible for pharmacy compounding and dispensing IV drugs and medications and maintaining JCAHO compliance
  • Filling prescriptions for customers and providing drug information counseling to patients and physicians
  • Working in conjunction with the IV Pharmacy Manager for certain administrative functions
  • Compounding and dispensing medications
  • Providing clinical consultations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years Retail Pharmacy Experience
  • Registered Pharmacist Required
  • Licensed Pharmacist Required
