Job Description:

Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK. Work autonomously to assess cases of people applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the DWP’s Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This involves holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.

Job Responsibility:

Holding telephone, video or in-person consultations with people applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or Work Capability Assessment (WCA)
Assessing a variety of complex conditions and impairments
Using strong verbal communication skills and writing high quality, fair and accurate assessment reports using a special IT system
Working with line manager to advance professional development and career

Requirements:

Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as a Pharmacist
Must hold full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
