This position interprets provider orders and prescriptions, compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards.

Job Responsibility:

Interpret provider orders and prescriptions
Compound and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards
Consult with patients and others regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions
Provide drug information to patients, health care workers and others
Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff including directing work flow and assurance of completion of duties
Demonstrate clinical expertise in area of practice

Requirements:

1 year hospital experience strongly preferred
PGY-1 or BCPS preferred
Bachelor's Science or Pharm D required
Active Pharmacist license in the state you are practicing required
ACLS Preferred

Nice to have:
