Pharmacist Assistant, Central Pharmacy, 3rd shift, 7 on/7 off, Winston Campus. Full-Time Nights. Schedule: 3rd shift, 2100-0730/1900-0530, 7on/7off. Winston Campus. How You’ll Impact Patient Care: Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Aids the pharmacist and fellow technicians in the preparation and processing of medication orders and prescriptions. Deliver pharmacy services within patient care areas. Engages in a team-based approach to enhance quality improvement, aligning with the Pharmacy Department's dedication to the philosophy and principles of Total Quality. Keeping knowledge and skills current and actively contributes to educating others. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and directs daily operations to optimize productivity. Assumes the role of a mentor for newly appointed technicians. Shares responsibility with pharmacists and managers for supervising activities within their respective areas. Takes on the responsibility of inventory management to ensure the availability of high-quality, in-date drug products and supplies as needed. Administers age/developmentally appropriate care following Age Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served. Participates in the planning process by establishing personal objectives to support quality improvement endeavors and contribute to departmental objectives. Adheres to the hospital's general standards to foster a collaborative work environment through effective communication, building interpersonal relationships, and promoting teamwork.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate degree in pharmacy technology required
PTCB/NHA technician certification (CPhT) required
North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration as a pharmacy technician required within 30 days of hire
Must meet and maintain all TCT validation requirements as outlined by NCBOP and Wake Forest Baptist Health
Nice to have:
One-year previous pharmacy experience preferred
