Job Description:

The ENGINEERING INTERN role within the organization will take on projects from initiation to completion during the extent of their time with the team. The successful candidate will have visibility across many functional groups (engineering, operations, maintenance, etc.) and will continuously optimize safety, standard operating procedures, and assist with process improvement projects. Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in PFAS Committee initiatives within NJ
  • Executes tasks directly related to PFAS projects and/or process improvements within the group
  • Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility
  • Prepare analytical reports on the overall program or individual projects
  • Assist in policy and standards development with regards to project delivery and data reporting
  • Conduct field investigations and assist in project construction supervision where possible
  • Comply with all Veolia Company and HSE procedures and policies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED is required
  • Working towards a four-year degree and you have Senior status in a related engineering major
  • 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
