Job Responsibility:
Development and series support for Charging system components (OBC/DCB/Inlet/DCDC), which fulfil the legal regulations and production demands
Creation and updating the requirements specification for components
Create feature requests to supplier, analyze the efforts and negotiate the quotation
Create Engineering change request and present in the car line change committee meeting to seek the change implementation approval
Support production plant for issue resolution
Provide the solutions for the issues reported by aftersales team
Internal/external stakeholder management during the Component change implementation
Lead and guide PF-Teams through the entire issue resolution lifecycle, from initial identification and definition to successful implementation and verification of solutions
Define and drive the strategic direction for issue resolution efforts, ensuring alignment with overall program goals and organizational priorities
Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for the PF-Team, representing its progress, challenges, and needs to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Oversee the structured application of established problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) to ensure robust root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
Ensure strict adherence to established guidelines and processes for PF-Team setup, operationalization, and reporting
Champion the effective use of issue tracking, project management, and collaboration tools to optimize team efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making
Identify and implement best practices for PF-Team operationalization, continuously seeking improvements in processes, methodologies, and tool utilization
Foster and facilitate robust cross-functional collaboration among engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and other relevant departments to ensure comprehensive issue resolution
Identify, engage, and manage all critical internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their active participation, commitment, and alignment throughout the issue resolution process
Mediate discussions, resolve conflicts, and build consensus among diverse teams to overcome obstacles and drive progress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, technical leadership, or problem-solving roles within a complex engineering, product development, or manufacturing environment
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders
Strong understanding and practical application of structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, A3)
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of charging system standards is an advantage
Should have good communication skills/ knowledge of German language is an advantage
