Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a PET Technologist to our team at Baptist Downtown. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm, with an on-call rotation every 8 weeks and a holiday coverage rotation as needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing patients with radioactive medication
  • Operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient’s body
  • Sterilizing syringes
  • Preparing patients for a scan
  • Processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease
  • Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures
  • Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure

Requirements:

  • Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine - ARRT
  • Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) - NMTCB
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
  • Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist - ARRT
  • Knowledge of the State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials
  • Complying with mandatory education and health requirements
