Precious Pets Country Resort is looking for a compassionate, dependable Pet Care Technician to join our resort team. This role is perfect for someone who truly loves dogs and cats and takes pride in providing excellent care in a clean, safe, and fun environment. Our Pet Care Technicians play a vital role in ensuring every pet has a positive, comfortable stay while their owners are away.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome pets and assist with check-in for a smooth, stress-free arrival
  • Feed, water, and administer medications according to instructions
  • Take pets outside for regular bathroom breaks and supervised playtime
  • Monitor pet behavior, wellbeing, and comfort throughout their stay
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, rooms, and common areas
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal-handling procedures
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to pet owners and teammates

Requirements

  • A genuine love for animals and comfort working with dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds
  • Prior animal care experience preferred (kennel tech, pet sitter, dog walker, etc.)
  • Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality care
  • Ability to lift or handle up to 75–85 pounds periodically
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
