Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity within Brisbane City Council, Public Space Operations as a Pest Technician who can work in Brisbane City and the surrounding suburbs. As part of the team, you will be working on various projects around Brisbane. Working with Public Space Operations you will undertake Pest Management and Control tasks. This role will require you to inspect premises for signs of pests. Also remove unwanted pests, such as roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, mosquitoes, ticks, and termites that infest buildings and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

  • Pest Management Technician Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Min. C Class Car Licence
  • TMI (Traffic Management Implementation) Licence or willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment
  • Chain of Responsibility Certification or willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment
  • First Aid + CPR Course or willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrate Pest Management skills through previous work history
  • Ability to work autonomously and within team environments
  • Ability to problem solve, think critically, make decisions and organize work flow

Nice to have:

  • Termite Management Licence
  • Any other Tickets/Licenses (Confined Space, Forklift, etc.)
