Job Responsibility

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Service Technicians through daily instruction and field support to ensure peak performance and professional growth
  • Manage daily service delivery by monitoring technician work volumes, enforcing work schedules, and optimizing route and zone efficiency
  • Conduct rigorous site audits and quarterly reports to ensure service excellence, proper housekeeping, and adherence to Integrated Pest Management standards
  • Direct the onboarding and ongoing training of staff regarding pesticide application, equipment maintenance, and advanced pest control techniques
  • Enforce strict adherence to the company’s Safety and Personal Codes, ensuring all field activities comply with the official Technical Handbook
  • Oversee the security, maintenance, and roadworthiness of the service fleet while ensuring technicians are fully equipped with required tools and pesticides
  • Proactively handle customer complaints and "Call Backs," visiting new commercial clients to ensure satisfaction and high retention rates
  • Personally inspect and resolve persistent or high-level infestations that require expert intervention beyond standard technician capabilities
  • Plan and execute large-scale treatments by effectively organizing labor, equipment, and logistics for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure all digital service records (Service Trak) are accurate and assist the finance team with account reconciliations and the collection of outstanding balances

Requirements

  • Diploma in Biology, Agriculture, or Environmental Health, Operations Management is highly preferred for supervisory roles
  • A valid Jamaican Driver’s License with a clean traffic record is essential for overseeing mobile service teams
  • The ability to drive stick shift (manual) is a plus
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the Jamaican pest control industry or similar role is a plus
  • At least 1–2 years in leadership / supervisor role such as a "Lead Technician" or "Junior Supervisor" position is a plus
