As a Personal Travel Consultant, you will be a key member of our Orient Express Team, in charge of creating memorable experiences with our guests, answering emails and inbound calls and offering guests your knowledgeable recommendations as you reserve their cabins and suites across our various Orient Express products, namely Sailing Yachts, the La Dolce Vita train, our prestigious hotels and the New Orient Express train which will be announced soon.
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrate expert knowledge of the Orient Express brand, acting as a trusted ambassador to inspire confidence and excitement in potential clients while gaining and maintaining loyalty
Proactively manage and follow up on leads whether low or high potential sales prospects via phone, email, and other communication channels to achieve and exceed sales targets, with the opportunity to achieve sales incentives
Close sales effectively by leveraging expert knowledge of luxury services, including train, yacht and hotel reservations, while delivering a seamless and personalized booking experience and maximizing revenue through upselling and cross selling
Cater to an Ultra High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clientele, maintaining the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and service excellence
Anticipate and exceed guest expectations, demonstrating keen intuition and a commitment to providing bespoke proposals and solutions that elevate the client experience
Requirements:
Exemplary level efficiency in English is required
Experience in luxury hospitality whether train, yacht or hotel operations, travel agency experience, sales or customer care is required
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills along with effective sales processes such as discovery and presenting questioning techniques
Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment, work independently and collaborate within a global team
Highly motivated and results oriented individual
Schedule will vary and successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends
Attention to detail and well organized
Must be currently legally able to work full time in Canada
You must reside in and be working from one of these provinces: NB, NS, PEI or QC
Must have a suitable workspace and a high-speed, direct internet connection (no wireless or satellite)
Must be available to work days, evening, weekends and holidays
Nice to have:
French is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Central Reservation Systems is an asset
