Job Description:

Join the Fitness team at one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Personal Trainer! In this role, you will be a coach, inspiration, and motivator to our members in helping them achieve their health in fitness goals in a fantastic facility with over 4,000 members! You will report directly to the Director of Fitness & Wellness.

Job Responsibility:

Perform a client evaluation to establish baseline measurements and understand limitations, general health and personal goals
Develop an individual exercise program consistent with the members’ personal fitness and exercise goals that is safe and appropriate to their limitations
Visually inspect the equipment prior to each training session to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use. Report needed repairs
Perform continual evaluations to assess improvement
Educate and assist members on exercise equipment, physical fitness and realistic physical expectations. Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises
Motivate clients to adhere to their program and promote all on-going and up-coming programs and activities
Maintain continuing education credits for certification
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of prior personal training experience
Experience teaching group classes is required
Current accredited Personal Training Certification
Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
Must have strong golf background - played in college or similar
