Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and returns for a variety of clients
  • Supporting the team in gathering and analysing financial data for tax purposes
  • Communicating with clients to request information and provide updates on work progress
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and helping apply them to client scenarios
  • Participating in internal training sessions to build technical knowledge and develop expertise

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in tax and a strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Good problem-solving skills and a desire to understand the 'why' behind the numbers
  • IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good educational attainment, GCSE grade 5 and upwards in English and Maths, and good A- Level / BTec / T-Level results in a related subjects (business, economics, maths, accounting)
