Personal Support Worker

• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Engage in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client's experience and care are identified
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
• Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members
• Respond to the Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
• Updates availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with CD to ensure continuity of care for your client
• Service the Brantford, Brant county and Norfolk County areas (Simcoe, Port Dover)
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Successful Completion of Personal Support Worker Program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proof of Health Care Certification
• Background or Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector (updated every 2 years for continued employment)
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver's license is required and a reliable vehicle
• First Aid and CPR required
• We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, or evening to meet our client's needs
