Job Responsibility:
Creates Happier Aging experiences and client-focused care in home and community settings
Delivers on our brand Promise by owning the client's experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
Engage in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client's experience and care are identified
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members
Respond to the Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
Updates availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with CD to ensure continuity of care for your client
Service the Brantford, Brant county and Norfolk County areas (Simcoe, Port Dover)
Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends
Requirements:
1 year previous caregiving experience
Successful Completion of Personal Support Worker Program
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proof of Health Care Certification
Background or Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector (updated every 2 years for continued employment)
Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
Valid driver's license is required and a reliable vehicle
First Aid and CPR required
We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, or evening to meet our client's needs
