Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or per person on whom refugee protection has been conferred

Student or recent graduate from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program
Must provide a current police vulnerable sector check at own cost
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position: lifting objects over 25 lbs., frequent standing, bending, constant walking

Job Responsibility

Assist in activities of daily living (bathing, oral hygiene, hair washing, peri-care, finger/toenail care)
Dressing
Toileting (including colostomy care and managing catheter drainage bags)
Mobility (including using equipment or mechanical lift)

Apply splints or protective dressings

Personal support worker certificate or equivalent OR currently enrolled in nursing program (RN/LN/RPN/LPN) with a minimum successful completion of 1 year OR a domestic or foreign trained nurse
