We are working with a leading insurance broker who has an opportunity for a Personal Lines Advisor in Buckinghamshire. The role involves managing customer enquiries, processing new business, renewals, and claims administration while providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Act as a Customer Adviser on specific nominated accounts and support other members of the division
Manage a range of customer enquiries via telephone, email and post always providing excellent customer service
Develop the account through existing client contacts and contribute to maximising growth through converting new business enquiries, cross sale and up sale of relevant ancillary products
Provide assistance to the Claims department with any relevant claims
Update client records with accurate information received from insurers including new business, adjustments and renewals
Transfer copy and documents into the client electronic file
Maintain good credit control within client portfolio
Ensure advice meets clients’ requirements and recommendations are documented
Requirements:
Experience with home and motor insurance policies
Highly motivated and efficient
Excellent customer service
Ability to handle a variety of communication channels (telephone, email, post)
Strong organisational skills for managing and updating client records
Sales-oriented mindset for upselling and cross-selling products
Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (Cert CII)
