Are you ready to be part of a WINNing team at Winn Group, a leading North East business providing nationwide accident management. We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals to join our Personal Injury team, to assist the supervising Solicitor in the effective handling of a case load of client cases. In this role you will receive the appropriate supervision based on your qualifications and/or specialist skills and legal experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work collectively with the supervising solicitor to ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation
  • Accurate recording of evidence and or data received from clients and other parties
  • Assisting with the accurate drafting of legal documents
  • Follow the Department procedures and processes along with company policies
  • Assist the wider team in achieving their key responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Information security policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used

Requirements:

  • 1 year + paralegal or equivalent experience
  • Ability to assist with a caseload of mainly fast track cases with appropriate supervision
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RTA liability, together with factual causation issues
  • Knowledge of Law, Part 7 and Part 8 Procedural Rules and Practice Directions regarding Credit Hire and Vehicle Damage losses recovery
  • Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives
  • Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment
  • Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills
  • IT literate
  • Commitment to own personal development

  • Knowledge of Proclaim Case Management System (or similar)
  • Previous knowledge or experience within Personal Injury or Other Compensation Claims Process
