Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who can handle complex filings, maintain organized case records, and provide reliable support through all phases of litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, clients, courts, and external vendors while managing multiple matters with accuracy and urgency. This is a 100% remote position; however, ideal candidate must live in the DFW area due to monthly and quarterly in office meetings.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and submit court filings in state, federal, and appellate courts while ensuring each submission aligns with applicable local rules, procedural requirements, and individual judge preferences
  • Support dispositive motion practice by gathering referenced materials, organizing supporting documentation, and assembling exhibits for filing
  • Coordinate the creation of hearing notebooks and binders, including working with outside vendors to ensure materials are complete and delivered on time
  • Assist with appellate matters by formatting briefs, compiling appendices, and producing tables of contents and tables of authorities using legal drafting tools when needed
  • Provide pretrial and trial support by organizing case materials, tracking deliverables, and helping attorneys stay prepared for hearings and courtroom proceedings
  • Monitor litigation calendars and maintain accurate docketing records so that court deadlines, filing dates, and case milestones are consistently met
  • Communicate regularly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and follow up on outstanding items needed for active matters
  • Maintain case tracking spreadsheets and status reports to give attorneys clear visibility into deadlines, filings, and overall matter progress
  • Manage a high-volume caseload by prioritizing competing deadlines and keeping files, records, and litigation materials well organized

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience supporting litigation in a Plaintiff Personal Injury practice
  • Hands-on experience with electronic filing in state, federal, and appellate courts
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadline management, and court rule compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with trial preparation, pretrial coordination, and dispositive motion support
  • Experience preparing legal documents, exhibits, appendices, and case-related reference materials with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency with case management software and litigation tracking tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in (plaintiff) personal injury litigation is preferred
