Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team on a contract basis for a four-week project. This part-time role offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in personal injury litigation and excel at managing high-volume tasks with precision and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and finalize detailed demand packages for personal injury cases, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Request, track, and organize medical records, billing information, and insurance documents to support case development
  • Draft legal complaints, reports, and other essential documents as needed
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible for attorney review
  • Collaborate with attorneys to meet tight deadlines and provide support during critical phases of the project
  • Utilize case management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with medical providers and insurance companies to gather necessary information
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures while managing sensitive case information

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal with a focus on Personal Injury law
  • Proficiency in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation
  • Familiarity with case management software and digital organizational tools
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing medical records and drafting legal documents
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Commitment to completing a four-week project on a part-time schedule
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume tasks efficiently
