Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm in Seattle. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting litigation processes, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and effectively. This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in civil court filings and legal documentation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and file lawsuits with civil courts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
  • Manage discovery processes, including organizing discovery documents and responding to requests
  • Draft and process summons and complaints to initiate legal actions
  • Handle interrogatories and compile information required for case preparation
  • Coordinate trial binders, ensuring all materials are properly organized and accessible
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses to gather and manage testimony and supporting documents
  • Analyze medical records and abstract relevant information for case development
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the litigation process
  • Support attorneys by conducting research and compiling case-related information
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and legal procedures are followed throughout litigation

Requirements:

  • 2+ YOE in Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiff or Defense)
  • Strong knowledge of discovery processes, including requests and responses
  • Experience managing medical records and analyzing abstracted data
  • Ability to draft legal documents such as summons, complaints, and interrogatories
