We are looking for an 2+ year Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant to join our established law firm client's team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can efficiently manage legal administrative tasks while supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Assist with billing functions and maintain compliance with legal billing requirements
Organize and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling court dates, depositions, and client meetings
Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain detailed records
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports using tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Aderant
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address inquiries
Handle claim administration tasks, including filing claims and tracking their status
Support attorneys with docket management and ensure deadlines are met
Perform administrative duties related to litigation processes, ensuring seamless operations
Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive support for ongoing cases
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury litigation
Proficiency in case management software and tools such as Aderant and Adobe Acrobat
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for client and team interactions
Familiarity with calendaring and docket management systems
Knowledge of claim administration and billing processes
Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of a collaborative team
Nice to have:
Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required
