Job Description

Beacon Hill's client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal or Attorney to provide litigation support to our client's Personal Injury Shareholder team. This role requires strong litigation skills, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, and excellent drafting abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to step in quickly and operate with minimal oversight.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft legal memoranda, motions, and related litigation documents
  • Prepare, manage, and organize legal complaints
  • Conduct PA e-filing and ensure all filings are timely and compliant
  • Support case management for personal injury litigation matters
  • Provide direct assistance to Attorney Shareholders

Requirements

  • Background as a sophisticated Litigation Paralegal or PA-Licensed Litigation Attorney
  • Prior litigation experience-plaintiff or defense-is acceptable
  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills
  • Experience with e-filing systems (PA preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite in Hamilton, NJ, Monday-Friday

  • Progress cases efficiently to ensure clients receive timely, relevant, and professional legal advice, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations appropriately
  • Identify cases where early litigation may be strategically advantageous and initiate proceedings promptly where appropriate
  • Provide clear, commercially sound advice on settlement options, including litigation and cost risks, to support informed client decisions
  • Meet and exceed performance targets—such as profit costs and settlement outcomes—while upholding the firm’s ethical standards and reputation
  • Liaise effectively and in a timely manner with referral sources, medical agencies, expert witnesses, insurers, and other third parties to ensure proactive case progression
  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by the business to support team objectives and client service delivery
