This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a legal expert with extensive experience in personal injury defense and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in handling depositions, arbitration, and legal research, with a proven ability to craft compelling legal arguments and documentation.

Job Responsibility

  • Represent clients in personal injury defense cases, ensuring thorough preparation and effective advocacy
  • Conduct depositions and summarize findings to support case strategies
  • Prepare and present arguments during arbitration hearings and other legal proceedings
  • Perform detailed legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Manage discovery processes, including the collection and analysis of relevant evidence
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders to develop case strategies
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations in all case-related activities
  • Work closely with internal teams or external agencies to resolve complex litigation issues
  • Provide expert guidance on personal injury law and related legal matters
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of case files and documentation

Requirements

  • Must have a valid license to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • At least five years of experience in personal injury defense litigation
  • Proficiency in conducting depositions and preparing deposition summaries
  • Demonstrated expertise in arbitration and arbitration hearings
  • Strong skills in legal research, drafting motions, and briefing
  • Familiarity with discovery processes and handling evidence
  • Background in civil litigation is essential
  • Previous experience working for insurance companies, law firms, or public agencies is highly desirable
