We are looking for a skilled Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Coral Gables, Florida. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in personal injury law and case management, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful client outcomes. The position requires consistent availability and emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills to manage cases effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Initiate and organize claims, including requesting accident reports and other supporting documentation for client cases
Set up and maintain case files in Clio, ensuring all necessary custom fields are completed and documents are accurately uploaded
Track and document case details, including communications with insurance companies, clients, and medical providers
Coordinate medical treatment schedules for clients, ensuring consistent care and proper documentation
Collect, organize, and manage medical records and bills, negotiating reductions with providers to support favorable settlements
Monitor case progress, collaborating with attorneys and staff to ensure timely advancement while maintaining service standards
Prepare comprehensive demand letters tailored to individual cases to facilitate settlement negotiations
Provide regular updates on case status in Clio and ensure all team members have access to relevant information
Work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to ensure files are complete and ready for the next phase
Notify case managers and other stakeholders of significant updates to ensure proactive case handling
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in Pre Suit Personal Injury Case Management or a related legal field
Proficiency in case management software, particularly Clio, to organize and track case details
Strong skills in managing medical records and bills, including negotiating reductions with providers
Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation
Effective communication skills to interact with clients, insurance providers, and medical professionals
Experience in preparing demand letters and other legal documentation
Knowledge of personal injury law and claim administration processes
Ability to collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure smooth case progression
