Senior personal injury role combining complex casework with team leadership. Clear progression within a growing specialist firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a varied caseload of personal injury claims from inception to conclusion
  • Lead and mentor a team of lawyers and paralegals
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on personal injury matters
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
  • Conduct negotiations with opposing parties to achieve favourable outcomes for clients
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively when required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case progress and documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay informed about developments in personal injury law and apply them to casework

Requirements

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Scotland
  • At least 5 years pqe
  • Proven expertise in handling personal injury claims
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-focused approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes

  • To issue proceedings using the Court Portal
  • Attend conferences, hearings and CMC’s with Counsel if necessary
