Christadelphian Aged Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Personal Carer to join our supportive team at Maranatha in Kallangur for Night Shift. This role is permanent part-time. Job Responsibility

  • Providing high-quality personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal assistance
  • Monitoring and reporting on the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
  • Delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and respect
  • Collaborating with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the Christadelphian Aged Care mission and values

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in providing personal care to elderly or vulnerable individuals
  • Previous experience working night shifts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
  • A caring, empathetic and patient-centred approach to care
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Evidence of Covid vaccination
  • Right to Work in Australia essential
  • Successful applicants must have a Police Check
