Do you want to be part of our great team whilst making an impact on the Lives of our Residents? An opportunity waits for a Personal Care Worker – Medication reporting to Director of Nursing. The position is Full time availability with flexible days and is responsible for Medication Administration.

Job Responsibility

  • Medication Administration
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff of the organisation
  • Participates in the development and evaluation of care plans to improve resident’s care in consultation with residents and their representatives
  • Work closely with RN and be able to report changes in resident health conditions
  • Maintain and update Resident Record
  • To assist with daily activities of the Residents
  • To maintain up to date knowledge on AN-ACC, Registration process, new practices, and procedures
  • Be able to liaise with third party providers including medical officers, dentists, podiatrist etc.
  • Have an excellent communication skill and have high level of documentation

Requirements

  • Attained Certificate IV in Aged Care
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Administrating Medication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess computer skills
  • Skills and knowledge required to complete a Care Plan documentation
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Flu Vaccine
  • COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Current National Criminal History Record
