Job Description

I am a 57-year-old gentleman living in the Cramlington area. I am looking to recruit a team of care workers to enable me to remain independent within my own home. Following a spinal injury, I require care and support with all aspects of my daily routine. I am currently cared for in bed and require my carers to support with daily care tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Medication administration
  • Meals and drinks
  • Bathing and dressing
  • Bowel regime
  • Catheter Care (if required)
  • Support to reposition within bed to maintain skin integrity
  • All care delivered on a 2:1 ratio

Requirements

  • Physically able to manage moving and handling elements of support
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Able and willing to work as part of team
  • Can learn on the job and take direction
  • Committed to providing long term care and support
  • Enhanced disclosure and barring certificate to work with the adult workforce
