Driving innovation deployment and strategic capacity planning across the Business Unit markets in Greater Asia, ensuring alignment with Business Group (BG) guardrails and integrated customer operations. The role balances innovation execution, technology enablement, and long-term planning to secure sustainable growth.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the timely roll-out of new innovations within the BU, ensuring compliance with BG guardrails and strategic priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D) to deliver innovations on time and in full (QOTIF)
Define optimum sourcing networks to meet cost and timing targets for innovation launches
Collaborate with procurement to develop key RPM supplier to serve innovations, in terms of capability and capacity
Develop first production and transition plans, ensuring capacity readiness and stock build targets at sourcing sites
Monitor post-launch performance and resolve supply or quality issues within the first 3 months of deployment
Own the long-term capacity planning process (+24 months horizon) for Finished Goods across sourcing units
Translate category growth assumptions into volume forecasts and capacity requirements
Drive investment decisions for capacity expansion, balancing trade-offs between scenarios and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
Lead scenario planning and validate outputs of strategic planning processes, making informed trade-offs between cost, service, and risk
Sourcing network optimization: Study current network of sourcing for GA portfolio and export, propose and lead projects to enhance sourcing network to improve all criteria in cost, cash and service and landing innovations
Resiliency: build resiliency plan for sourcing all markets of GA, in synchronization with global sourcing strategy and region’s business priority
Simplification: Lead the analysis and proposal for ATS – Above the Skin simplification, work with markets to ensure the implementation of simplification programs
Lead VSM: value stream mapping for PC GA manufacturing sites whichever applicable, deliver optimization for GA PC
Link strategic planning outputs to customer operations, setting guardrails for integrated planning across demand, supply, and innovation streams
Ensure transparency and alignment of assumptions across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons
Collaborate with Integrated Planning teams to manage innovation and renovation projects spanning multiple countries
Manage relationships and performance of collaborative manufacturing partners providing products to Personal Care GA
Ensure compliance with quality, service, and cost standards while integrating partner capacity into long-term planning
Drive capability building and technology transfer to external partners for innovation launches and capacity expansions
Monitor contractual agreements and KPIs for collaborative manufacturing to secure supply continuity and operational excellence
Align and implement CM network optimization with BG CM team, make sure change management without impact to GA business
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s degree or MBA preferred for strategic planning and leadership roles
8–12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Innovation Planning, or Capacity Management within FMCG or similar industries
Proven track record in deploying innovations, technology solutions, and strategic planning across multiple markets
Experience in scenario planning, trade-off analysis, and investment decision-making for long-term capacity
Familiarity with integrated planning processes, collaborative manufacturing, and customer operations alignment
Proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, IBP) and digital supply chain tools
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and model scenarios
Knowledge of CAPEX planning, manufacturing technologies, and network optimization
Knowledge in global trade practices and policies
Strategic Planning: Ability to shape long-term supply chain strategies and secure alignment with senior leadership
Change Management: Skilled in driving organizational change, embedding new processes, and managing stakeholder resistance effectively
Executive Communication: Strong ability to present complex scenarios and trade-offs to senior leaders, enabling informed decision-making
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent relationship-building skills across global and regional teams, including external partners
