Job Description:

Fun, energetic SUPPORT WORKER wanted to join our friendly team to support an active young lady with autism and learning disabilities. She lives at home where she enjoys outings, walking, cycling, and swimming, especially open water swimming. The railway museum, canals with ducks and Fountains Abbey are her favorite places. She enjoys listening to music, baking, cooking, drawing and spending time with her family. This is more than just a job, it's a chance to empower someone to live a fulfilling, independent life, surrounded by people who care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting an active young lady with autism and learning disabilities to live her best life
  • Supporting and enabling her to live as independently as possible
  • Giving support with personal care
  • Guiding her through her day, giving advice and explanation to help her make good choices and decisions
  • Supporting with outings, walking, cycling, swimming, listening to music, baking, cooking, drawing

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting people with autism
  • Good communicator
  • Patient, caring, and confident
  • Full UK driving license
  • Female applicants only (due to personal care support)
