Personal Care Assistant

The role of the personal assistant (PA) is to work with Kaleb, without direct supervision, in the two family homes. It will be expected that the PA will provide care and support, including personal, social and domestic duties, whilst adhering to Kaleb’s individual care and support plan. The aim of the position is to enable Kaleb to remain safe in his own home, ensuring a good quality of life is maintained. In view of Kaleb’s non-verbal communication and reduced cognitive capacity, it is very important that the PA encourages Kaleb to engage with everyday life in ways that facilitate his abilities and needs.
