Completion of an approved State of Massachusetts PCA training program or HMK/Home Health Aide training program
A Homemaker-Home Health Aide in another state or territory of the United States may be deemed to have completed a training program provided sufficient documentation
Exhibits maturity, flexibility and ability to plan and organize activities
Evidence of a physical exam indicating free of communicable diseases
Attend Six (6) hours of In-Services per Calendar Year including Mandatory In-services

Job Responsibility

Work cooperatively with the family member, the agency supervisor and any other individuals involved with the Client
Follow instructions, be conscientious and take pride in work
Inform the Supervisor of unusual incidents or events of a significant change in the Client's condition
Assist Client In/Out of bed
Ambulating/Safe Transfers and Techniques
Toileting/Elimination/Bed pans/Must empty all Commodes
Grooming
Adequate Nutrition and Fluid intake
Bathing/Showering/Sponge Bathing
Shampoo/Hair combing
