Job Description:

I’m looking for a kind and reliable person to support me with day-to-day family life and help me stay independent. I am a parent to two boys (12 and 13), and, while I’m independent, I need some support due to health conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Help with everyday tasks such as cooking, light housework, and shopping
Support with parenting (prompting routines, hygiene, and occasional outings)
Assistance with paperwork and daily correspondence
Keeping the home tidy
Encouragement and reassurance help me manage my daily life confidently
Occasional support to get out into the community
Any other reasonable duties as requested

Requirements:

Enjoys working with children
Supportive presence to work alongside me in my parenting role and daily life
Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs

What we offer:

Annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
