Personal Banker

• Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products
• assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• develop understanding of bank products and services
• interact with customers and demonstrate care
• provide options for bank products and services
• refer customers’ financial needs to other bankers or partners
• maintain cash drawer and handle service-related tasks
• comply with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) requirements

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education

• Customer service experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• experience proactively engaging with customers via phone or email
• ability to educate and connect customer to technology
• ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts
• understanding of financial policies, procedures, and regulations
• military experience in protocol, benefits management, or recruiting
