Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves building customer relationships, proposing financial products and services, assisting with account openings and service requests, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience
Build relationships through proactive outreach
Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions
Assist customers with opening new accounts
Complete service requests
Submit credit applications
Develop understanding of bank products and services
Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
Provide appropriate options for bank products and services
Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners
Maintain cash drawer and cash handling
Complete service-related tasks

Requirements:

6+ months of interacting with customers experience
Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
Ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements

Nice to have:

Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions
Relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management
Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
