Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to provide exceptional customer experiences, handle basic banking transactions, and introduce customers to appropriate products and services. The role requires meeting SAFE registration requirements and adhering to all compliance policies and practices while building strong relationships with clients and internal partners.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach
propose appropriate products and services to help customers succeed financially
assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within policies and procedures
interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed

Requirements:

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English (remove if not needed)
ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
compliance with the SAFE Registration requirements
maintain cash drawer and cash handling skills
ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal partners
ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z

Nice to have:

customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share value of mobile banking options
relevant military experience including personnel benefits management, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
