Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Personal Banker to assist customers in meeting their financial needs by offering products, building relationships, and providing service. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer experiences, assisting with account openings and service requests, and referring specialized financial needs to appropriate team members. The role entails working with integrity and professionalism, following regulations such as the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008, and demonstrating strong team collaboration. Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
  • assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
  • interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
  • provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
  • refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
  • support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience
  • ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
  • ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations, including acceptable background investigation results
  • meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Nice to have:

  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
  • experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
