Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Responsibilities include building relationships through proactive outreach, assisting customers with banking needs, and referring customers to other bankers and partners. This is a customer-facing role requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.

Job Responsibility:

participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
receive direction from managers and exercise judgement within defined policies and procedures
develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed

Requirements:

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English

Nice to have:

customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
