Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves engaging with customers, proposing products and services, and handling various customer requests while complying with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers
refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.

Requirements:

6+ months of interacting with customers experience
bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English (if needed)
ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008
ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
maintenance of cash drawer, cash handling and balancing
passing required language assessment (if needed)
meeting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator positions
relevant military experience including protocol, personnel benefits management, human resources, or recruiting.

Nice to have:

Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
relevant military experience related to enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, personnel benefits management, or transitions.
