Job Description

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests. Our client is a 6-year-old boy living in Chester with his parents. Our client a happy, friendly young boy who has a learning disability and global developmental delay, he also has epilepsy and requires support appropriate to his individual needs and development.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting our client during outings and community activities
  • Engaging in sensory play and activities to support client’s development and learning
  • Providing constant supervision due to the risk of drop attacks/ seizures
  • Always supporting client’s safety and wellbeing
  • Support with personal care when required

Requirements

  • Previous care & support experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of working with children with additional needs
  • Experience & knowledge of Epilepsy & Seizures
