Job Description:

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
  • Attend medical appointments as required
  • Provide support with accessing recreational activities
  • Assist with personal care as instructed by the employer in a sensitive and dignified manner
  • If required, under the employer’s direction supervise and or assist in the administration of prescribed medication
  • Maintain the domestic environment to the required standard, ensuring that regard is given to safety and hygiene
  • If required assist in the preparation of meals

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Car and appropriate business insurance
  • Previous care & support experience
  • Undergo relevant training for professional development
  • Confidentiality
  • Good at building relationships
