Personal Assistant

• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, including: Medication administration
• Feeding tube support
• Use of suctioning equipment
• Oxygen administration
• Support customers to: Make choices and maintain control over their lives
• Express themselves creatively
• Socialise and develop positive relationships
• Build community links and access a variety of meaningful activities
• Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
• Support customers with daily routines, meal preparation/support, and personal care when required
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team

• Experience in health and social care is desirable, but not essential
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and compassionate approach are essential
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lone work when required and following training
• Be motivated to learn new skills and willing to undertake training to provide specialist support e.g. feeding tubes, suctioning equipment and administration of oxygen
• Driver or non-driver considered
