Job Description:

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests. You will be working with a professional DJ and wheelchair user, who likes to live independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests
  • Help with daily tasks around the house
  • Help in business
  • Drive a transit van which is adapted to the employer's needs as a wheelchair user
  • Supporting well-being and lifestyle
  • Personal care as and when required
  • Attending social/networking events
  • Attending appointments
  • Accompanying on occasional shopping trips
  • Some diary management
  • Correspondence
  • Running errands

Requirements:

  • MUST be a Car Driver
  • MUST BE OVER 25 YEARS OLD (Insurance purposes)
  • DBS checks
  • Employment References
  • Knowledge of disco/audio equipment desired but training can be given
  • Reliable
  • Trustworthy
  • Show an aptitude for this type of work
  • Willingness to show some flexibility in the hours that you work
